Our music uses the treasures within "Hogaku", or Japanese classical music, to propel us into unchartered trritory.

Our mission through  Shamisen Gakusha is to  share the sounds of Japan with those domestically and abroad.

"Hogaku" has an unlimited range of appeal,whether it's a classic work a new, modern creation.

Through concerts, seminars, collaborations, and workshops, we are working hard to accomplish our mission.
